IOC Evaluation Commission will visit Kazakhstan in February

Almaty. January 8. Silkroadnews - Evaluation Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will visit Almaty on February 14-18 to assess the readiness of the city to receive the Olympic Games 2022, reports KazTAG.
According to the report, then the IOC Commission will visit Beijing on 24-28 March. Representatives of the two cities will make presentations to members of the IOC in Lausanne in June, followed by the IOC Executive Board at the session of the organization in Kuala Lumpur on July 31 which will determine the winner.
Representatives of the Chinese Olympic Committee, provided IOC financial guarantees and construction of the Olympic Winter Games in 2022, claimed by Beijing. Later will be presented the guarantees by the Kazakh contender for the conduct of the competition - Almaty, according to the information.
It was reported that among the candidates for the Winter Olympics in 2022 left only Almaty and Beijing. Oslo, Norway withdrew its application in October last year.
According to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, in case Kazakhstan receives the right to host the Olympics in 2022, Winter Games will be possible to carry out in two cities - Almaty and Astana.
