Iran and Azerbaijan have agreed to expand investment cooperation

Almaty. April 17. Silkroadnews - Iranian company will increase the volume of investments in Azerbaijan's economy according to the agreement reached at the meeting of the Minister of Labour and Social Security of Iran Ali Rabie with the Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Friday.
During the meeting, the ministers of the two countries reached an agreement on the key issues of the investment activities of subordinate Iranian companies and organizations, including fund of pension savings, investment and welfare of Iran in Azerbaijan.
In particular, the Azerbaijani side A.Rabie recalled the strong determination of the Iranian government to develop comprehensive economic relations with its northern neighbor, adding that the regular exchange of visits of official delegations of the two countries will contribute to the expansion and deepening of bilateral relations.
The head of Iran's Ministry of Labor also pointed to the importance of expanding cooperation between the two countries in the field of engineering and technical cooperation, including areas such as exploration and oil and gas industry. They also expressed readiness of the Iranian side to provide training and vocational training of the oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan.
In turn, Mustafayev expressed his satisfaction with the positive dynamics of the development of relations between Baku and Tehran, and noted the important role of the activities of the joint Iranian-Azerbaijan Economic Commission for further strengthening of multifaceted ties between the two neighboring countries.
