Iran and Japan have agreed on the development of bilateral scientific and technical cooperation
Almaty. October 8. Silkroadnews - Iran and Japan signed the first ever bilateral agreement on scientific and technical cooperation, informed the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Thursday.
The document was signed by Minister of Science, Research and Technology of Iran Mohammad Farhadi and his Japanese counterpart Hakubun Shimamury in Kyoto.
Tehran and Tokyo have agreed to intensify bilateral cooperation in the field of scientific and technical cooperation programs for the exchange of students and teaching staff and joint research activities.
According H.Shimamury, Iran plays an important role in the Middle East in terms of scientific and technical progress and engineering, and reached bilateral agreement in Kyoto will help to give a new impetus to the expansion and deepening of mutually beneficial relations between Iran and Japan.
