Iran and Kazakhstan discussed plan for creation of the Islamic Organization for Food Security
Almaty. September 30. Silkroadnews – Foreign Ministers Deputies of Iran and Kazakhstan discussed in Tehran plans to build the Islamic Organization for Food Security, IrTAG writes.
«The sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of agreements reached during the official visit of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Iran in April 2016. The two sides exchanged views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda, including the creation of the Islamic Organization for Food Security, headquartered in Astana, and agreed on the need for effective cooperation in the framework of Kazakhstan's non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for 2017-2018», the publication says.
The parties have also discussed some aspects of the Caspian Sea's legal status.
