Iran and North Korea discussed the development of economic cooperation

Tehran. September 15. Silkroadnews - The Ministers of Feoreig Affairs of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif and North Korea Ri Yong Su met in Tehran and expressed readiness to expand bilateral economic ties, transmts the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
Iranian Foreign Minister suggested that the Iranian businessmen through their participation in the implementation of various economic projects in North Korea could contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
Foreign Minister of the DPRK, in turn, has expressed interest in Pyongyang in the presence of private investors from the Islamic republic in the North Korean market.
Ri Yong Su criticized "unfair" Western sanctions against Iran and North Korea, adding that unilateral sanctions actually helped these countries to gain confidence in their abilities and contribute to their full development.
Iran's Foreign Minister also briefed his counterpart on the progress of negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program between Tehran and a group of international mediators, noting that achieving a final agreement on this issue is possible only if the "opposite side will show goodwill in resolving this conflict".
