Iran and Portugal agreed to cooperate in the field of cinematography

Almaty. October 9. Silkroadnews - Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran, Ali Jannati received the night before the Secretary of State for Culture of Portugal Jorge Barreto Xavier, who is in Iran for a working visit, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
During the meeting A.Jannati said that his country is ready to develop all-round cooperation with the Portuguese side in the humanitarian and cultural spheres, including the matters of cooperation in the fields of the film industry, broadcasting, theater, art and sharing audio-visual products.
Iranian Minister of Culture announced the readiness of Iranian experts to provide practical assistance to their colleagues from Portugal in the implementation of the translation of books and scientific and technical literature from Persian into Portuguese and vice versa.
In turn, the Portuguese State Secretary for Culture Lisbon expressed interest in expanding the multifaceted cooperation with Iran, noting the importance of establishing between the two countries, exchange of students and teaching staff, translation work.
Following the meeting, was signed a memorandum of cooperation between Iran and Portugal in the field of film and television production movies.
