Iran and Russia begin the mutual supply of foodstuffs for the barter

Almaty. May 19. Silkroadnews - Iran and Russia plan to start practical implementation of the barter deal between the two countries, according to which the Iranian meat, dairy and fish products will be supplied to the Russian market in exchange for grain, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
The assistant to the head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation Alexei Alekseenko said that now the relevant agencies of the two countries are in full swing work on the harmonization of the final list of Iranian companies which will be engaged in the supply of products to the Russia.
He also said that recently, for this purpose, Iran was visited by the delegation of the agricultural industry of the Russian Federation in order to familiarize itself with the process of production and the conditions of the sanitary-epidemiological surveillance of Iranian enterprises. During this visit, were held talks on specific details and parameters of the implementation of the barter transaction. The Russian official precise volume of expected deliveries was not announced.
