Iran and Russia will carry out financial settlements in their national currencies

Almaty. September 10. Silkroadnews - Iran and Russia are moving to their national currencies in mutual settlements between the two countries, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
This statement was made by Minister of Oil of Iran Bijan Namdar Zanganeh following the meeting of the Iranian-Russian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, which ended today in Tehran.
According B.Zangane, the parties reached agreement on the transition to the Iranian rial and Russian ruble in the implementation of all financial settlements between the two countries.
"All of the agreements reached during the negotiations - is a merit of the Presidents of Iran and Russia and their wise policy", - said the Iranian minister after the meeting of the intergovernmental commission.
He also expressed hope that the upcoming participation of the heads of the two states at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Dushanbe will open a new milestone in the history of Iranian-Russian relations.
