Iran and South Africa have concluded a preliminary agreement on the supply of Iranian crude oil
Almaty. September 17. Silkroadnews - Iran and South Africa have concluded a preliminary agreement on the supply of Iranian crude oil, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Thursday.
"The parties signed a preliminary document, but because the oil terminals in South Africa are owned by foreign companies, such as Shell, the implementation of exports will be performed after lifting the sanctions", - explained in the message.
Before tightening the sanctions in early 2012, Iran has been the largest supplier of hydrocarbons in South Africa, the volume of which reached 400 thousand barrels per day.
