Iran and Spain intend to cooperate in the field of nuclear energy

Almaty. January 28. Silkroadnews - Iran and Spain have prepared a preliminary agreement on the construction of two nuclear power plants, reports IrTAG.
“Based on these projects, which discussion achieved its final stage, Iran and Spain will cooperate in the field of power plant construction, capacity building and training,” - said the representative of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrooz Kamalvandi.
According to him, the performance of the agreements will start in late February - early March.
On January 16, 2016, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) submitted a report, reiterating the willingness of the Iranian authorities to reduce Iran’s nuclear capabilities significantly. Later, the EU and US have confirmed lifting of the economic and financial sanctions from Iran as related to its nuclear program.
