Almaty. July 12. Silkroadnews – On July 20 Iran and the “six” will hold a meeting in Vienna to establish a Committee on technical issues of production of fuel on Iranian territory, IrTAG reports.

“Two weeks ago in Vienna, we held the first expert meeting on this issue. Agreed in writing to outline the arrangements for beginning the work of this Committee at the next meeting of the joint Commission’s comprehensive action plan, which will be held on July 20 to approve the work plan of the Committee. From that moment he will begin the work,” said Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Iran Seyed Abbas Araqchi.

He also noted that in addition to Iran the Committee’s working group will include “six” countries, but did not specify what is exactly the work to be done by the Committee.

To remind, the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear portfolio began in 2004 when the western countries accused Tehran of developing “a secret military nuclear program”. Since 2006 the negotiations with Iran have been carried out by a group of six international mediators – five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany.

Later, in 2006-2010, several packages of sanctions were introduced against Iran. In July 2015 Iran and the “six” reached an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program saying for the next 15 years Iran was not to reprocess the nuclear fuel, while the EU was to provide the country’s access to foreign trade.
