Iran and the UAE have agreed on visa facilitation

Almaty. December 26. Silkroadnews - Iran and the UAE reached an agreement on visa facilitation between the two countries, the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
The decision on the simplification of visa procedures for citizens of the two countries was taken during the 9th meeting of the joint Iran-UAE intergovernmental commission on Consular Relations, which was held in Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of deputy foreign ministers of Iran and the UAE.
Following the meeting, also held a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two foreign ministries.
In addition to facilitating the visa regime, the document provides for the continuation of cooperation between judicial authorities of Iran and the UAE in the fight against illicit drugs and their precursors, as well as expansion of cooperation between the coast guards of the two countries in the Persian Gulf.
