Iran and Turkey plan to open a third customs checkpoint

Almaty. February 3. Silkroadnews - Iran and Turkey will open the third customs checkpoint, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Tuesday.
"We want to open the third customs checkpoint between Turkey and Iran. To open the item in Kapykoy must pave the way for a length of 75 kilometers. Turkey will finance the project, and the Iranian side then we will pay the debt. The construction of the road will require 250-300 million turkish lira",- quoted Minister of Customs and Trade of Turkey Nuretdin Chanykly.
According to him, this project has a great importance for Turkey. The new item will be shorter and more convenient.
During the recent summit talks Tehran and Ankara expressed a desire in the near future to bring the level of bilateral trade to $30 billion a year.
