Iran by March 2016 plans to launch 5 satellites

Almaty. October 6. Silkroadnews - Iran began to prepare for the launch into the orbit new satellites of its own production, reports Russian media.
According to Fars news agency, Deputy Head of the Iranian Space Agency (ASI) Hamid Fazeli informed that 3 satellite pass all necessary testing procedures and are getting prepared for the launch. They received the name "Zafar", "Tolu" and "Autsat" and scheduled to be launched in the next calendar year (March 2015-th - March 2016).
According to H. Fazeli, these satellites will be put into orbit of the Earth as "launchers, that has a more powerful thrust-weight ratio than previously used". Machines are intended to scan the Earth's surface and send images to the ground station satellite communications.
In addition, according to H. Fazeli, the Iranian Space Agency plan to launch 2 more satellites monitoring the Earth's surface, called "Sharifsat" and "Nahid". Their launch is scheduled for the end of this year.
The deputy head of the Iranian Space Agency said that the new satellite "Zafar" is scheduled to be launched at geostationary orbit at an altitude of 36 thousand km at the equator. It is designed to work for 1.5 years.
Satellite "Tolu", also at geostationary orbit, but with a height of 500 km, will conduct remote sensing of the Earth.
Third satellite - "Autsat" - developed by Iranian experts in the University of Technology "Amir Kabir" in Tehran and is designed for monitoring and implementation of telecommunication links.
