Almaty. August 2. Silkroadnews – Iran has complained to the UN Security Council on US sanctions, Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.
Reuters informed the statement was made by the speaker of the Iranian parliament Ali Larijani, who said the United States violated the terms on the Iranian nuclear program deal with their sanctions.
Earlier, the United States brought 18 organizations and individuals to the list of sanctions on Iran’s missile program. Tehran condemned Washington’s sanctions, saying that it would impose retaliatory sanctions against the American individuals and companies.
With this, the United States confirmed Iran complies with the terms of the JCPOA on the nuclear deal reached between Iran and the P5+1 in July 2015.
To remind, on July 14, 2015, Iran and the “six” international mediators reached a historic agreement on the settlement of the long-standing problem of Iranian atom. A joint comprehensive plan of action (JCPOA) was adopted to remove from Iran the economic and financial sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council, the United States and the European Union. The plan came into force on January 16, 2016.
