Iran could become a global producer of fuel for nuclear power plants

Almaty. May 20. Silkroadnews - Iran has the potential and capacity to become one of the world's largest producers of fuel for nuclear power plants, transmits IrTAG with reference to the deputy head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (OAEIRI) Behrooz Kamalvandi.
He said that today Iran is among the 10 nations of the world, possessing the scientific, technical and industrial know-how to enrich uranium and produce nuclear fuel.
At the same time B.Kamalvandi assured that, despite the present potential of Iran in the field of nuclear technology, the country will continue to closely follow all the undertaken obligations under international law and the statutes and regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
