Almaty. September 16. Silkroadnews - Iran for the first time began exporting diesel fuel after the summer last year the country achieved economic independence to ensure the internal market by diesel fuel, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
According to the general director of the National Company for distribution of petroleum products Sajjad Nasser, Iran for 160 days of the current Iranian year (starting from 03.21.15 city) has exported 560 million liters of diesel fuel in the amount of $250 million. During the same period were exported about 4 million liters of furnace fuel and 10 million liters of the product in the framework of bunkering fuel, which is 8% more than in the time of the presidency of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
It should be noted that the increase in furnace fuel bunkering and export of these products, as well as an increase in exports of diesel fuel was made possible as a result of significant growth in gas production in Iran over the past two years and using it as fuel in power plants of the country instead of liquid fuels.
