Iran has banned the import of US goods

Almaty. November 6. Silkroadnews - Directive prohibiting the importation of American consumer products was announced by the Industry and Trade Minister of Iran Mohammed Reza Nematzade, Russian media reported.
"The solution is based on the proposals of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated in a letter to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani", - says the publication.
On October 18 joint comprehensive action plan (SVPD) on the Iranian nuclear program came into effect. Its implementation, according to Ali Khamenei, should lead to the development of the Iranian economy.
The agreement is intended to ensure the exclusively peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program in exchange for Tehran's withdrawal from all the international and unilateral sanctions. But, according to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iranian government should support domestic producers to check imports from the United States.
