Iran has received nearly $500 million of previously frozen assets of $ 4.9 billion

Almaty. April 1. Silkroadnews - Iran confirmed the receipt of the next tranche of $490 million of previously frozen overseas assets totaling $4.9 billion, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
Transferred from Japan to the accounts of the Central Bank of Iran in Oman funds are the proceeds from the Iranian oil supplies to the country.
According to the Central Bank, it is the fifth installment totalling $4.9 billion, which was unlocked based on the current interim agreement on the Iranian nuclear program, reached byTehran and "six" international mediators (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) agreement in Geneva on November 24, 2013.
It is expected that these funds should be entirely transferred to the Iranian authorities by 10 separate payments until June 30 of this year.
Earlier Iran already received  separate tranches of $7 billion unlocked funds.
