Iran has started the production of batteries for missile systems

Almaty. August 22. Silkroadnews - Iran has launched a new production line for the production of batteries for military purposes, the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Friday.
Minister of Defence, Hussein Dehkan at the opening ceremony of the production line on Thursday said that produced batteries are to be used as energy sources in the Iranian missile systems of land, air and sea-based.
"With the launch of this product line, we have achieved the ability to develop leading-edge products and gained self-sufficiency in the production of the necessary raw materials and raw materials for our defense systems and systems for air, sea and land defense", - said the Minister.
According to him, the mass production of this type of battery will help to improve the accuracy of Iranian missiles, as well as increase the range of their flight.
He stressed that the achievement of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of the country will serve as an additional deterrent against potential military threats from third countries.
H. Dehkan also added that this breakthrough event will allow the Armed Forces of Iran to provide all of their defense needs in terms of energy storage on an industrial scale, and assist in the implementation of new and innovative developments in the defense industry of the country.
