Iran has suspended production of the aircraft IrAn-140

Almaty. May 19. Silkroadnews - Iran has suspended production of passenger aircraft IrAn-140, designed for 140 seats, reports Trend.
According to the deputy head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization Hamid Habibi, manufacturers of Iran Airplane Manufacturing Company (HESA) are prohibited to release the aircraft IrAn-140. He noted that the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran has banned the production, operation and licensing of these planes.
According to him, the ban will be applied until commission establish the cause of the disaster of IrAn-140 last year.
Recall that in August last year, IrAn-140 plane crashed near Iran's Mehrabad airport. As a result, the crash killed 40 people.
