Iran hopes to export up to 2.5 million barrels per day after the lifting of sanctions

Almaty. May 18. Silkroadnews - Iran hopes to return to "before the sanctions" level of oil exports in three months after the lifting of Western sanctions. This was reported by Trend with reference to the deputy head of the Iranian Ministry of Oil Rokneddin Javadi.
"So, instead of eighth, Iran will become the fourth largest oil exporter, and its share in world exports will grow from 5% to 6%", - says the publication.
The Deputy Minister hopes in a specified period to bring exports to 2.5 million barrels a day. He added that half of the total exports may come to Asia.
Now Iran, according to OPEC, exports 1.9 million barrels per day, giving a way to Kuwait, Canada (2 million), Nigeria (2.2 million), Iraq (2.4 million), the United Arab Emirates (2.7 million), Russia (4.7 million) and Saudi Arabia (7.6 million). The global volume of exports of crude oil is 39.8 million barrels per day.
Deputy Minister expects that the price of oil can grow to about $80/barrel by the end of 2016.
"From a commercial point of view, today's prices should be maintained and gradually increase", - said R.Javadi.
