Iran in August recorded an increase in oil production of 14.7 thousand barrels per day

Tehran. September 16. Silkroadnews - Oil production in Iran in August of this year increased by 14.7 thousand barrels per day, reported the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
According to the monthly report of the OPEC Secretariat on the situation in the oil market, for the last month the Islamic Republic increased oil production, while in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, this figure is significantly reduced. Thus, during this period the daily oil production in Iran increased by 14.7 thousand barrels, while in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, respectively, decreased by 63 and 55 thousand barrels.
The document also states that in July Iran was producing an average of 2 million 754 thousand barrels of oil per day, and in August it was able to increase this figure to 2 million 769 thousand barrels. In the second quarter of this year, Iran was producing an average of 2 million 765 thousand barrels of oil per day.
With regard to Iraq, as a result of deterioration of the situation in connection with terrorist activities, falling of oil production has been observed for the third consecutive month. In August, its production was reduced by another 63 thousand barrels compared to July and averaged to 3 million 12 thousand barrels per day.
Meanwhile, according to OPEC, Saudi Arabia daily oil production reduced by 55 thousand barrels and made in August on average 9 million 857 thousand barrels.
