Iran is interested in implementing investment projects in Kazakhstan

Astana. April 13. Silkroadnews - Iran is interested in implementing investment projects in Kazakhstan. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) Mohammad Javad Zarif, transmits KazTAG.
He informed that during the current visit to Kazakhstan discussed the various international and regional issues.
According to the minister, Kazakhstan and Iran have very good potential for cooperation in the field of agriculture and other sectors of the economy.
In turn, the Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov said that the sides also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of agriculture.
"There are appropriate opportunities, in particular, the joint production of agricultural products in Kazakhstan", - said Y. Idrisov after a meeting with his Iranian counterpart.
"Our companies are ready to open terminals on Iranian territory, at the junction of railways, and in the south of the Persian Gulf. Iranian companies are ready to participate in the development of infrastructure in our Caspian ports in Kazakhstan", - he added.
"We have had very fruitful talks with Mr. Zarif on all aspects of our relationship, very thoroughly discussed bilateral relations, with a focus on trade and economic relations. We have discussed in great detail security issues in global and regional scales, topics such as Afghanistan, the situation in the Middle East, our negotiations on the legal status of the Caspian Sea, cooperation in the UN, CICA. In all questions we have a very good understanding",- concluded Y. Idrisov
