Iran is ready to invest $100 million into the development of agriculture in Kyrgygzstan

Almaty. November 13. Silkroadnews - Iran is ready to invest in agriculture of Kyrgyzstan $100 million, reports KyrTAG with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
"Iran is ready to invest $ 100 million to start the export of agricultural products, and then in the other direction, depending on the need and importance", - informed the press office after a meeting of the MOA KR Taalaybek Aidaraliev with the Iranian delegation headed by Iranian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic and the Governor of the Mezandan province of Iran Rabifom Fallah Dzhellodar.
The governor of the province expressed readiness of the Iranian side in mutual cooperation and listed 15 projects for which they are willing to work together with Kyrgyzstan. The main areas are steel greenhouses, supply of chickens and day-old chicks, fisheries, construction of warehouses and cold stores, fertilizer plants, and more.
The Minister of Kyrgyzstan suggested Iranian delegation to consider the proposal for beans. He stressed that in the case of interest of Iran in beans, Kyrgyzstan is ready to export beans direct deliveries, as well as other eco-friendly agricultural products in exchange for investments from Iran.
"After listening to your suggestions, we would like first to make emphasis on the construction of plants for the production of chemical fertilizers, as well as logistics centers and cold-storage rooms. Due to the absence of such centers and cold stores 30% of agricultural production is in poor condition",- concluded T.Aydaraliev.
