Iran is ready to offer foreign investors favorable conditions of work in the oil and gas sector

Almaty. June 3. Silkroadnews - Iranian authorities are planning to send tens of billions of dollars in development and modernization of the oil and gas industry of the country. Government is ready to offer to foreign companies more favorable conditions of work, in order to attract the necessary investment from abroad, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
New terms, or so-called "Iranian Petroleum contract", whose development has been actively carried out by experts of relevant departments of the country, will be much more interesting for the companies than the deal the two previous decades.
It is noted that the Iranian government has not officially published any of the documents, and discussed in the business community conditions may be changed. However, according to recently-sounding statements from the lips of Iranian officials, a new contract for the participation of foreign companies in Iranian oil and gas projects will include such conditions, "from which will be difficult to refuse".
Earlier, foreign investors received from Iran a fixed fee on the basis of the project, but now Tehran is ready to offer them a stake in the mining and go to some other concessions.
According to independent experts, such proposals are likely to make Iran more attractive from a commercial point of view, than other countries in the region that need foreign investment, including Iraq and Algeria.
Earlier, Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said that Iran needs to invest in the oil and gas industry  $200 billion.
