Almaty. April 6. Silkroadnews - Iran is ready to quickly restore its quota in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on the extraction of "black gold", reports Tass.
"Iran is ready to quickly take on Iranian quotas for oil in OPEC in the light of the abolition of oil sanctions against Iran, introduced by the UN Security Council, as well as a number of Western governments", - said Deputy Oil Minister for International and Commercial Affairs Hossein Zamani-Nia.
To do this in a short period of time, Tehran will have to increase its production capacity in oil production using new technologies and attracting foreign investment.
As said H.Zamani-Nia, a final agreement on Iran's nuclear program will have a direct impact on the development of the country's oil industry.
According to him, the international oil companies "have already expressed interest in participating in Iranian oil projects, and the Ministry of Petroleum of Iran started to consider the received proposals".
