Almaty. August 5. Silkroadnews - Iran launched the first passenger train to the border with Turkmenistan, reports Trend.
Passenger train is designed for 336 seats, and its top speed is 120 km/h.
In March, the deputy head of "Iranian Railways" Hossein Achouri said that the railways of Iran in the near future will be connected with the railways of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
