Iran, plans to involve Russian specialists in the construction of two nuclear power plants

Almaty. November 11. Silkroadnews - Russian specialists are planned to be involved in construction of two nuclear power plants in Iran, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) on Tuesday.
"The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Iranian Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi, left for Moscow today, during this visit will be signed documents aimed at developing cooperation between the two countries", - says the publication.
As expected, in Moscow A.Salehi will hold talks with the Director General of the State Corporation for Atomic Energy "Rosatom" Sergey Kiriyenko, which will be resulted in a number of documents to be signed, including the participation of Russian specialists in the construction of two new nuclear power plants in Iran.
According M.Sanai, "Iran and Russia have experience in the construction of the Bushehr power plant with a capacity of 1,000 MW, which, despite the delay in the course of its construction, is currently at full capacity is synchronized with the national grid and meets part of the needs of Iran's electricity".
At the same time, the Iranian diplomat stressed that cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of peaceful nuclear energy is carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of international law.
Meanwhile, Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian, in an interview said that the Russian side should make their project proposals for the construction of new nuclear power in Iran in the coming months.
