Iran plans to raise $ 3 billion Chinese investment

At the same time, he said that the Ministry of Energy of Iran intends to use part of their funds for the implementation of projects for construction of three new dams and two power plants.
As reported last week, Deputy Director General of the National Company for the production and distribution of petroleum products IRI Shahrukh Husravoni announced the signing of an agreement with the Chinese side to provide a credit line for the project of reconstruction and modernization of production capacity of refinery "Abadan", located on the south-western of Iran in the Persian Gulf. According to him, the total cost of the project for the modernization of the complex is about 2.6 billion euros. In this case, the exact sum of the expected Chinese investment were not mentioned.
It should be noted that at the end of 2013 the foreign trade turnover between the two countries reached $45 billion. Iran is the third largest supplier of oil to China, providing an average of about 12% of China's annual demand for oil.
