Iran presented the development of the helicopter and drone at the VII International Airshow
Almaty. November 20. Silkroadnews - Iran presented their two latest developments in the field of aircraft construction in the VII International Air Show, which kicked off yesterday at Kish Island in the Persian Gulf, informs the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
We are talking about the helicopter Sorena and unmanned Ababil-3, designed and built by Iranian experts on the basis of domestic technologies.
4-seater Sorena can be used as a helicopter for training purposes, as well as patrolling and carrying passengers at relatively short distances. It is equipped with an engine capacity of 300 hp and is capable of speeds up to 160 km/h. The machine can perform missions at an altitude of 14 thousand feet.
Meanwhile, Ababil-3 is another latest development of Iranian designers in the creation of modern UAVs. New drone may be in the sky up to 8 hours, and its effective range is 250 km. Ababil-3 can be used in both military and commercial and research purposes. The machine is equipped with night vision devices and ultrasensitive optics, which allows him to transfer pictures to the ground in real time.
Recall that on November 18 on the island of Kish began work VII International Exhibition of Aeronautics and Astronautics, which was attended by some 110 Iranian and foreign companies. International Air Show will be valid on the territory of the free economic zone "Kish" for four days.
