Iran ratified the Paris agreement on fight against global climate change

Almaty. November 14. Silkroadnews – Iran has ratified the Paris agreement on fight against global climate change, Trend reports.

206 deputies of Iranian parliament took part in the vote. The Paris agreement on fight against global climate change was adopted with 149 votes in parliament.

Earlier, the Paris agreement was ratified by Pakistan that the 104th country that has approved the document.
The extreme heat caused by climate change, especially in summer, resulting in loss of lives by citizens of Sindh, the southern Pakistan's province.

The agreement was signed in December 2015 by countries responsible for more than a half of the world’s carbon dioxide emissions. Other states have ratified the treaty earlier, however, their responsibility for climate change is lower.
