Almaty. April 20. Silkroadnews – Iran would benefit from a nuclear deal made with the world powers last year, in case the US will apply the correct method to implement the comprehensive joint action plan (nuclear deal), Trend wrote.

“The United States can meet their obligations regarding the implementation of JCPOA so that the Islamic Republic would benefit from the deal,” said Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on the results of the closed-door meeting with his US counterpart John Kerry in New York yesterday.

As soon as the United States take appropriate measures on the implementation of JCPOA, the existing barriers are eliminated, the foreign minister said.

There are opportunities for all the parties, including Iran, to take advantages of the implementation of JCPOA, he added.

M. Zarif said he and John Kerry will meet again on the sidelines of the ongoing UN climate summit on April 22 to further discuss the implementation of the nuclear deal.

In July 2015 Iran and the “Six” international negotiators reached a historic agreement on the settlement of long-term issue of the Iranian atom. The long negotiations resulted in the adoption of the joint comprehensive action plan, which implementation shall completely remove from Iran the economic and financial sanctions previously imposed by the UN Security Council, United States and European Union in exchange for the verification of the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program.
