Iran's car industry is establishing a new model of car production

Tehran. June 17. Silkroadnews - Iranian auto industry intends to establish an assembly and production of new model of cars till the end of this year, reported KazTAG.
According to Director of Automotive Group "Iran hodrou" (in Farsi "hodrou" - the car - Silkroadnews) Hashem Yekezare, mass production of automobiles under the brand name "Dena" will be launched in the second half of 2014. Untill the end of this year it is planned to produce more than 15 thousand of these automobiles.
H. Yekezare stressed that one of the strategic objectives of "Iran hodrou" is the possibility of new Iranian car to found its niche in both domestic and foreign markets. In this regard, it is also planned to start production of this model in factories of Automotive group outside Iran.
Car "Dena" was created by experts of "Iran hodrou" based on a national platform, without any help from outside. Technically, it is fully consistent with national and international standards. Originally "Dena" will be issued with a conventional engine and manual transmission, and later will be developed with turbo engines and automatic transmissions.
