Iran sets the highest temperature record in history

Almaty. July 1. Silkroadnews – Iran sets the highest temperature record in history, Internet portal The Weather Network reported.
“On July 29, the Iranian city of Ahvaz set the hottest temperature +54C, taking into account the humidity, it was felt like +61C”, the report said.
The country’s scientific community argues, if this temperature can be considered as a record.
“Earlier it was believed that the highest temperature on Earth +58C was recorded near the Libyan city of El Azizia, though the World Meteorological Organization’s Commission for Climatology has not recognized the Libyan record due to data generation method reliability”, publication notes.
