Almaty. July 1. Silkroadnews – Iranian Oil Ministry has stabilized the export of mazut, liquefied gas, kerosene and gas oil, Trend reports.

“For the first time in the history of our oil industry we have succeeded to export these petroleum products continuously since the beginning of the financial year (March 21, 2015). Earlier the export was carried out irregularly and for short periods of time,” said Iran’s Deputy Oil Minister and CEO of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Abbas Kazemi.

One of the main issues today is that a number of Iranian oil refineries produce too much mazut, A. Kazemi said, adding that it is planned to introduce some changes in the production process to get mazut processed into gas oil and gasoline.

According to him, some foreign investments will be attracted to carry out the necessary changes at Isfahan Refinery, and also the talks are underway with investors for Bandar Abbas and Tabriz refineries.
