Iran strengthens its border to prevent infiltration of terrorists

Almaty. November 10. Silkroadnews - Iran has increased the number of border posts to prevent the entry of terrorists into the country, reports IrTAG.
"We have built 721 new border post throughout the land borders of Iran with the aim to strengthen the protection against possible infiltration of terrorists into the country", - said Deputy Interior Minister of Iran Hussein Zulfakari.
According to him, border infrastructure is provide with additional means of electronic surveillance, intensified surveillance of the border from the air.
The deputy minister stressed that according to the available information of the Interior Ministry of Iran, terrorist group "Islamic State" does not represent an immediate threat to Iran.
