Iran to allocate $10 billion to build two power-stations
Almaty. November 22. Silkroadnews – Construction of two new power plants in Iran requires $10 billion funding, Iranian media reported.
“The first tranche from the budget will be allocated over the next two weeks”, head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi said.
The new power plants will also operate to desalinate water and could produce 200 thousand cubic meters of fresh water per day.
These power plants are expected to be built by 2026. The construction works will be carried out by Russia.
By 2035 Iran plans to increase its nuclear potential of power generation up to two thousand megawatts.
