Iran to repel all possible threats: Minister of Defense

Almaty. December 28. Silkroadnews - Iran is capable of repelling all possible threats, Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports with reference to Tasnim News Agency.
“Iran’s Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami underlined the country’s capability to repel all possible enemy threats. Addressing a group of Iranian parliamentarians in Tehran on Tuesday, Hatami lauded Iran’s defensive power, and said, “Thanks to the martyrs’ blood and the Iranian scientists’ capabilities, the country’s defense strategy is in a level that we have created a proactive deterrence in a bid to nib in the bud any plot against the Islamic Republic of Iran”,” the report says.
Hatami added, Iran has a long-term strategic outlook on defense issues.
“Today, the enemies' approach is to weaken national strength and defense power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but we will not allow anyone to undermine our country's defense might,” Hatami said.
As the agency reminds, at the meeting of army officers in early October, the leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said that vigorous efforts to strengthen Iran’s power are a strong response to the attempts of the enemies to resist Iran’s national power.
