Iran will continue supporting Syria in fight against terrorism, H. Rouhani said

Almaty. September 28. Silkroadnews – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has promised to continue supporting Syria in the fight against terrorism, having noted the need to support Syria's integrity of the borders and unity, IrTAG writes.

«The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue supporting Syria in the fight against terrorism to ensure security in the region», said H. Rouhani at the meeting with the chairman of the Syrian National Council Hadiya Khalaf Abbas in Tehran.

Iran supports Syria as believes that terrorism is a threat to both the region and the world. According to H. Rouhani, one of the principles upon which the Iranian policy is based on is the support of the territorial integrity and solidarity of the countries of the region, including Syria.

The Iranian president also said delivering humanitarian aid to people is the most important priority in Syria.
