Iran will continue to provide full support to the people and Government of Afghanistan, said Rouhani

Almaty. September 29. Silkroadnews - Iran supports the further strengthening of comprehensive relations with Afghanistan and is ready to provide the people and government of this country every support and assistance to overcome difficulties, said the president of Iran Hassan Rouhani at a meeting with Prime Minister of Afghanistan, Abdullah Abdullah in New York, informed the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
At the same time, the head of Iran pointed to the longstanding problem of drug trafficking from Afghanistan to regional states and urged the Afghan authorities to step up the fight against the cultivation and production of narcotic drugs in the country.
Abdullah Abdullah stressed that Iran has repeatedly proved its fraternal and friendly relations with Afghanistan under a variety of situations, which have been formed on Afghan soil today.
