Iran will supply the Russian market with seafood

Almaty. September 16. Silkroadnews - Seafood from Iran will come to Russian stores by the end of this year, transmits the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
Question of rapid launch of supply of fish and marine products from Iran to Russia was the main topic of the talks, which were held in Tehran in the middle of last week between officials of the two countries. At this meeting, the Iranian side was represented by the Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mehdi Khalaj and Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry Hooman Fathi. Russian side was presented by the official representative of the Federal Agency for Fishery in Iran Rifat Asanov, officials of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Rosselkhoznadzor.
During this meeting, the sides exchanged views on a number of issues in the field of closer cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of fisheries and aquaculture.
"Following the event, the parties agreed that there are no obstacles from Russia for the import of Iranian products, and in a short time on the Russian shelves may appear Iranian shrimp and trout of high quality. It is expected that the first shipments will begin in December 2014", - the Federal Agency for Fishery.
