Iranian companies may be involved in the construction of roads in Turkmenistan

Almaty. December 7. Silkroadnews - Turkmenistan and Iran have discussed the development of partnerships in the transport sector, reports Trend.
The talks were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Iranian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Construction Ali Nurzada.
The sides discussed the construction of a new road bridge Sarakhs (Turkmenistan) - Sarakhs (Iran) across the river Tedjen, participation of Iranian companies in the projects of construction of the road Tejan-Sarakhs and Ashgabat-Turkmenabat.
According to the Iranian side, the annual trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Iran is about $5 billion in the next few years it could grow by half.
