Iranian daily crude output exceeded 4 million barrels

Almaty. October 4. Silkroadnews – Oil production in Iran has overcome the barrier of 4 million bpd, the head of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Cadore announced on Monday, IrTAG wrote.

«At present there is a pressure placed upon us in terms of crude production volumes. Yet, despite this, despite the tough and intensive negotiations, we have succeeded in conquering the four million production milestone», A. Cadore said.

Thus, the country has achieved the pre-sanctions level of «balck gold» production that amounted to little more than 4 million bpd. A. Cadore also said that the country should continue to increase oil production.

«The volume (of crude output – Silkroadnews) is expected to reach 5.2 or 5.7 million bpd», he added.

According to A.Cadore, Iran supports level of production at the quota level of 14% of the total OPEC production. He also said that the country has reached the level of potential sales of 4 million barrels of oil.
