Iranian President arrives in Ankara to participate in trilateral summit on Syria

Beijing. April 4. Silkroadnews - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Ankara on Tuesday to attend a trilateral Russia-Turkey-Iran summit to resolve the Syrian crisis, the Iran Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports.
Rouhani will also hold separate bilateral meetings with the presidents of Russia and Turkey Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdoga to discuss bilateral issues and prospects for the Syrian settlement.
To remind, on November 22, 2017, the presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey held a meeting in Sochi and stated significant progress in the joint struggle against terrorism in Syria and the beginning of a qualitatively new stage in the settlement of the Syrian crisis.
Another move in the process was Congress of the Syrian national dialogue, Sochi, January 30, 2018, which gathered more than 1,500 delegates representing all sites of the Syrian society. The participants decided to establish a constitutional council, as well as to form a constitutional commission.
