Iranian President supports idea of relocating state capital

Tehran. April 29. Silkroadnews - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani supports the idea to relocate country's capital, as Iranian Mass Media reports.

Iranian parliament is set to consider the draft law on relocation of state capital next week.
As reminded in Mass Media, the Parliament has already approved the basic stipulation of the draft law that allows for the state capital to be relocated away from Tehran. This is explained by the high frequency of earthquakes and high level of air pollution in Tehran. It is yet to be reported wh ere the capital is to be relocated to.
