Iranian referee Faghani to officiate “bronze” playoff match of 2018 World Cup

Beijing. Jul 13. Silkroadnews - Iranian referee Alireza Faghani was appointed to officiate the third-place playoff match of the 2018 World Cup between England and Belgium, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports referring to the press service of the FIFA.
For Faghani this match will be the fourth in the tournament. He will be assisted by Iranian linesmen Reza Sokhandan and Mohammad Mansouri. The fourth referee is Malang Diedhiou, the backup assistant is Djibril Camara (both Senegal), IRNA reports.
The match for the third place will be held on July 14 in St. Petersburg starting at 5 p.m. Moscow time.
Argentine referee Nestor Pitana appointed referee for the final match of the World Cup between teams of France and Croatia.
The final match of 2018 World Cup will be held on July 15 in Moscow.
