Iraq said about total elimination of chemical weapons in country

Beijing. February 1. Silkroadnews - Iraqi authorities have eliminated all chemical weapons in the country, Abdul Razzaq Al-Essa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq, said, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports.
According to TASS agency, the minister said there is nothing left in Iraq to threaten the life. The country has fulfilled its international obligations to destroy the remnants of chemical weapons.
With this, he noted, the government should conduct an investigation into the program of chemical weapons elimination in the republic.
Since 2011, Iraq had spent 58 billion dinar ($47 million), but has not achieved any specific results, minister said, noting that his department succeeded to accomplish the task for seven months of last year.
