Italy increases its Kazakh oil import by 32.9% last quarter
Astana. April 29. Silkroadnews – Kazakhstan increased its export of crude oil and condensed gas to Italy during January-March 2014 period. It has reached 6.1 mln tonnes or USD 5.1 bln in monetary equivalent. This signifies a 32.9% increase in terms of quantity and 31.2% increase in terms of cash flow compared to the equivalent 2013 period. This was reported by the Committee of Customs Control of Kazakh Ministry of Finance.
As reported, Kazakhstan has increased its global export of crude oil and condensed gas by 22% in term of quantity and by 20.8% in terms of cash flows during the March-January 2014 compared to the equivalent 2013 period. It now reaches 20.4 mln tonnes or USD 16.7 bln in monetary equivalent. This global figures exclude exports to the countries of Customs Union countries.
The biggest importers of Kazakh oil in the last quarter are:
Italy -6.1mln tonnes (=32.9%)
China- 2.9 mln tonnes (+18.7%)
France – 2.1 mln tonnes (=20.4%)
Netherlands – 2.5 mln tonnes (-1.6%)
