Japan contributed $1 million to 11 social projects in Uzbekistan

Almaty. March 13. Silkroadnews - Japan contributed $1 million to 11 social projects in Uzbekistan, reported the UzTAG.
According to the publication, the funds will be allocated under the "free social aid for small-scale projects".  Grant contracts were signed at a ceremony in Tashkent on 11 March.
Ambassador of Japan at the signing ceremony,noted that all projects will be implemented within one year.
According to the Embassy of Japan, from 1995 to 2014 under the mentioned program, medical and educational institutions, local authorities and non-profit organizations of Uzbekistan has implemented 341 projects totaling more than $22 million.
